Art-o-mat® machines are retired cigarette vending machines that have been refurbished to vend art - a concept that started as a coffee shop exhibit by Clark Whittington and Artists In Cellophane, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.   Flying M in Boise hosts Idaho's only Art-o-mat which was also the first to be installed in the Pacific Northwest.  A great way to treat yourself to a handful of art - from photography and paintings, to flip-books and jewelry - for just five bucks.  Artwork comes from over 400 artists from 10 different countries found in over 80 active machines ... local artists are invited to participate.  Go to Artomat for more information.
